The Kemper County Homemaker Volunteers recently held their Annual Awards Tea.
    Kyla Moore welcomed everyone and Iris Roberts gave the invocation. Jane Smith then led the Pledge of Allegiance.

MSU Extension County Coordinator, Malikah Jones, presented the Outstanding Club Member of the Year Award to Kyla Moore. The Outstanding Club of the Year was presented to Scooba Club. Mr. J.L. White, a longtime sponsor of two awards, presented the Secretary Recordbook Award to West Liberty Club and the Club Scrapbook to Scooba Club. Members also received certificates for their participation in various county, eastern area, and state events and contest.

The program ended with a delicious variety of food prepared by the homemakers. To show support of American Heart Month members wore red as a reminder to take care of your heart.

Kemper County Homemaker Volunteers  Fashion Revue will be held in March at noon at the Ruby D. Rankin Farmer's Market building.
