Kemper  County 4-H’ers participated in the Southeast District 4-H Shooting Sports competition this past Saturday in Stone County.

The event was held at the McHenry Shooting Facility in Perkinston. We had youth competing in Rifle and Pistol disciplines.

Through participation in firearm safety training and shooting sports activities, young men and women are given the opportunity to learn responsibility, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and other qualities critical to the development of productive citizens.
